The Legend of mr. 1k

Mike Evans has the whole league talking.

And it still feels like he’s underrated and under appreciated.

That is, by everyone else but Bucs fans.

Still, it feels like the general public is finally catching up to realizing how great of a career we are all getting to witness.

A career that has given him inconsistent circumstances to say the least, he’s been the picture perfect image of consistency himself.

Seven quarterbacks, five offensive coordinators, four head coaches,

The one constant: ten years, ten 1,000 yard seasons.

So how is he underrated? Lets start with 1 All Pro selection. Only 4 Pro Bowls. An average spot of 47th on the annual NFL Top 100 list.

In case you were wondering, Mike ranks first in the league in receiving yards and in recieivng TDs since he came in the league.

His peaks have been as good as anyone too - he’s had the 2nd most games with 2+ TDs and the 3rd most games with 150+ receiving yards in the last ten years.

In a league that has a new ‘flash in the pan’ to distract you every week, Evans’ has been there week in, week out putting up numbers for whatever version of the Bucs is on the field.

One thing is for sure, he’s working on guaranteeing himself the most important accolade an NFL player can ask for.

First-ballot Hall of Famer.
